The candle wick burned and crackled.

Ghostly light, illuminating a small area, cast long shadows on the stone wall behind.

This is a long and narrow room.

The walls are all rough stone and look like a prison cell, or a niche designed by the believers for statues.

But in this room, there are neither prisoners nor statues.

Under the dim candlelight, there was only a pale face with lifeless empty eye sockets facing the room.

A skull.

The skull was placed on a rickety table against the back wall. Two human leg bones are placed on both sides, and there are some bottles and jars on the table.

On the wall beside the table, there was a hideous-looking rune snake lying cross-legged, and the three heads stared straight at the figure on the wall.

The figures were blurred like ghosts.

The owner of the ghost, standing in front of the wall with his eyes closed, seemed to be sleeping, or was thinking.

A servant knelt humbly on the ground, pointing his wand at his master's darkening arm, chanting an intricate incantation.

The potions on the table were all poured onto the arm, but the black toxin was only slightly dimmed.

The corrosion of the potion brought incomparable pain, and Voldemort opened his eyes.

He has no hair, like a snake, two elongated nostrils, and sparkling red eyes with vertical pupils.

Voldemort lowered his head and looked at Snape, who was treating him.

Snape's gaze, right at the wall, saw a small patch of faded graffiti - ten capital letters scrawled.

VOLEDEMORT

"It's French." Voldemort's voice was low and hoarse. "I carved it fifty years ago, and I didn't expect it to be still here."

VOLEDEMORT is Voldemort, also his name - Voldemort.

"This room, which I called the 'reflection room' back then, was for me to think about death."

With the slender fingers of his left arm, Voldemort stroked the wall slowly, touching the French letters that meant "stay away from death."

"I gained a valuable insight into the fleeting nature of life by contemplating the inevitability of death."

Snape's gaze shifted from the letters to the fresh skulls on the table.

It sounds like a lot of depth, but this room later became a place where Voldemort tortured wizards.

—Like Nurmengard Castle in Grindelwald.

It wasn't long ago that Voldemort was here, torturing and murdering a Death Eater.

He never thought about his own death, but the death of others!

"I taught you the task, how's it going, Severus?"

Staring at his arm, Voldemort could clearly feel the poison eroding his arm.

That pain tormented him day and night.

"Stark...he's cautious," Snape whispered. "He doesn't trust me very much, like that stupid dog Blake."

"I thought that he was so good at potions, and most of it was taught by you." Voldemort's tone was sarcastic.

"It seems that it has nothing to do with you. He taught it all by himself?"

"Stark and I have never had a good relationship." Snape lowered his head.

"Apart from the knowledge taught in class, I have never given him potion counseling after class."

Voldemort frowned and said, "In addition to his magical attainments, he is also a master of potions.

It seems... William Stark has more secrets than I thought. "

"Master, with all due respect, why not resurrect?" Snape suggested sincerely.

"Let's change another body, we are all by your side, this time it's easy."

Voldemort pursed his thin lips, but did not answer.

In this body, there is Harry's blood and Lily's protective charm!

It took so much effort to get Potter out and resurrected smoothly... He was reluctant!

It's really easy to change a body now, but that magical power is gone.

At the very least, he can no longer touch Harry's skin!

The death fourteen years ago was still vivid in his mind, and the fear of being bounced back by his own death curse was still haunting Voldemort's mind.

Even though he was poisoned by poison, he was unwilling to change his body before killing Harry.

"But... it's really time to make plans." Voldemort thought to himself.

If Snape couldn't deceive the antidote, the body might not last for two years and would die sooner or later.

Voldemort had to figure out what happened that year.

What did that prophecy say - its full content! !

The candlelight flickered suddenly, a stream of air blew through it, dimmed a moment and then lit up again.

Lucius Malfoy pushed open the door and entered the narrow room in fear.

He breathed in a choking smell of potion, which was getting stronger and deeper into his nostrils.

The room was very humid and the humidity in the air accentuated that smell.

Malfoy knew that Voldemort was hurt, and that he was hurt by Stark, but he didn't expect it to be so bad.

Malfoy didn't look up, didn't even have the desire to investigate the injury, still lowered his eyelids, and said respectfully:

"Master, the conference room has been tidied up and can be used completely."

Before Voldemort fell, this was one of the strongholds of the Death Eaters. After his accident, the place was abandoned.

Unexpectedly, after many years, it has once again become the habitat of Death Eaters.

"No, I don't need a conference room, just say it here."

After so many years of wandering, Voldemort doesn't fully believe anyone now.

This period of time is even more important, and every step he takes must be cautious.

Therefore, the tasks of the Death Eaters are independent and confidential from each other. Once there is a leak, he can quickly know who are... traitors.

Voldemort looked at Snape. "Very good...you can go. Call Avery."

Snape packed up the potion, bowed and stepped back quickly, and stepped out of the door.

There were only Malfoy and Voldemort in the room. Malfoy's body tensed, as if terrified.

Crunch!

The door was opened again, and Avery walked in quickly, kneeling next to Malfoy.

"This is an absolutely classified mission," said Voldemort softly.

"I need you two, help me get something."

"What, master?" Avery showed a flattering smile: "As long as you want, no matter where we throw our lives, we will get it for you."

"What if I send you to Hogwarts?" Voldemort sneered. "Go kill Stark!"

Malfoy swallowed, isn't this going to die?

Avery was also full of horror, looked up and said: "Master, if we enter Hogwarts, I am afraid that Dumbledore will find it."

Voldemort snorted.

Sooner or later, he would enter Hogwarts and kill Dumbledore and Stark with his own hands.

"No need to go to Hogwarts..." he said grimly.

Malfoy and Avery's bodies visibly softened, but then stiffened.

Just listen to the Dark Lord's cold voice: "We're going to the Department of Mystery Management at the Ministry of Magic, just get me something."

Malfoy and Avery looked at each other uneasily.

Where is the Ministry of Magic so easy to break in and steal things inside.

"What, is there any difficulty?" Voldemort's red eyes stared at the two of them, his eyes sharp.

"Of course no problem, Master!" Avery said shrewdly, taking a step forward. "As long as you give an order, any problem is no longer a problem."

One step slower!

Malfoy was secretly annoyed in his heart~lightnovelpub.net~ I haven't licked the Dark Lord for more than ten years...the skills are a little rusty.

"Do you have any plans?" Voldemort approached Avery.

"Perhaps, we can control the silent man of the Department of Mysteries." Avery suggested.

He glanced at Malfoy and said sinisterly:

"Lucius has always had a good relationship with Minister Fudge. He can donate a building and take the opportunity to use the Imperius Curse to control Broderick Bird of the Department of Mysteries."

Malfoy glared at Avery secretly.

Let him take risks and let him donate the building?

mean guy!

Voldemort stomped on Avery's head, lifted Malfoy's chin with his wand, brought it up to his face, and asked:

"Do you have any questions?"

"me……"

Looking at the ugly face so close at hand, Malfoy changed his face at the speed of light and licked flatteringly:

"Of course no problem, even if I donate all the Malfoy family's property, I have no problem, master.

but……"

"But what?"

"I want Avery to help me. I'm afraid I can't complete the task alone. Don't delay your important affairs."

Avery groaned inwardly and looked at Malfoy grimly.

"Of course." Voldemort said lazily. "I'll give you two months. I don't want to hear any news of failure."

He smiled grimly.

"What the loser suffers...you know."

Malfoy and Avery shuddered.

"What do we need to steal, Master?" Malfoy asked after a moment.

"A... prophecy ball! About me and Harry Potter!"
