Alien Knights

Chapter 606: Martyred City (10)

The basement of the prison.

In the narrow passage, Carroll grabbed the feet of a knight of the Holy See, like a sledgehammer, smashing the shield wall in front of him, flying all over.

Aldenan lowered his body, used his limbs together, and jumped up from the top of Carroll's head, and through the disrupted space of the shield wall, he plunged directly into the crossbowmen in the back row of the enemy.

Dewclaws threw forward, and a crossbowman's throat was forcibly torn off, and blood was sprayed on the ceiling like a fountain.

"Devil! Devil!" A frightened crossbowman took out the cross from his chest, held it up to the werewolf, and shouted: "In the name of Father, I order you to go back to the lair!"

Aldenan licked the blood on his paw, threw down the crossbowman with a grinning grin, and opened his mouth to bite the opponent's head directly.

The commander of the prison guard looked at the hell-like battlefield in front of him, and his whole person trembled like chaff.

He shook off the guards, turned around and ran to the end of the tunnel on the first underground floor, and shouted to the two demon-faced jailers: "Close the door!"

"But... But, my lord, there are still our friendly forces there."

The commander drew his sword, and without hesitation hacked to death the jailer who dared to talk back, and shouted at the rest of the guy: "Close this **** door!"

Randall leaned sideways with a shield blow, knocked the last standing enemy to the ground, and said to his back: "The passage is cleared."

Pedro, who was squatting behind the goal post, stretched out his head trembling, and the corpse in front of him made him draw a cross on his chest.

Pedro walked carefully behind Randall and said: "From there down the stairs, you can reach the second floor of the prison, where the warden Mortonkris and his guard live. Through there, we want The people saved are on the third floor."

Pedro paused for a moment, then looked at the locked door at the end of the passage, and said worriedly: "But first, we must find a way to open that door."

The tauren Bulville kicked off the body in the way, leaned the giant axe against the corner, and muttered to Pedro, "This is not a problem."

First he spit on his hands twice, Bourville lowered his body, pointed his horns to the front, and slammed his hooves on the ground. He slammed into the door like a train moving at full speed.

A deafening impact was accompanied by the shaking of the mountain.

The huge wooden door shattered into a pile of wood chips, and even the surrounding walls did not collapse.

Bourville patted the gravel on his body, returned to pick up the giant axe, and said to the dumbfounded Pedro: "I said, this is not a problem."

The group followed the curved staircase to the second basement floor of the prison.

The environment here is colder and more humid.

In the cells on both sides of the passage, human-shaped things can be seen faintly, but compared with the upper level, these creatures have long lost the instinct of human words and deeds.

They either laughed wildly or sobbed quietly. Some people even gnawed their own flesh and blood and made a beast-like cry.

"I don't like it here." Barbara wrapped her robe tightly: "This place is more desperate than hell."

Pedro forced himself not to look at the cells on both sides: "When I first became a deacon, I came to the second basement level once, and in the two decades since then, for whatever reason, I was reluctant to set foot here again. "

Karin looked at the idol of the cross hanging on the wall, and said with a sneer: "What's interesting is that the church's salvation method is to let people abandon reason and welcome madness."

Aldenan covered the wolf's nose with his paw, and said in pain, "Can we hurry up? The smell here makes me almost lose my sense of smell."

Pedro pointed to the flame at the end: "From there, we can reach the center of the second basement floor, which is the torture room and the warden's residence."

A group of people speeded up their pace, quickly traversed the long passage, and walked into a brightly lit hall.

The iron maiden, the guillotine, the craniotomy, the amputation bed...they are of various styles, and the dazzling array of torture instruments are like furniture, neatly placed in the hall.

Human heads, limbs, organs, and skins are like trophies. They are displayed in the glass window, and under the light of the fire, they appear to be extremely terrifying and weird.

"The warden's hobby is really vulgar." Aldenan looked at the dark red blood stains inside the iron maiden and shrugged his shoulders: "It seems that these torture instruments are not just decorations."

"Guest! Finally! A guest is here!"

A sharp voice like a drake attracted everyone's attention.

A middle-aged man with almost the same figure as a ball, dressed in a gorgeous costume, stood on a high platform in the hall, overlooking the intruder.

"I have heard rumors that many non-human races live in the distant Western Kingdom." The man stared at the members of the Crusade Army with greedy eyes, and said excitedly: "I originally thought it was just a rumor, but I didn't expect it. It's true!"

The man moved his fingers, as if looking at a delicious meal: "Tauren, Lizardman, Werewolf... and the tall green monster. Don't worry, I will put your specimens here most prominently. The place!"

Carroll smashed the floor with one foot: "Green-skinned monster?"

Aldenan glanced at the orc: "Is your focus wrong? This guy is going to make us a specimen."

Randall raised his sword and pointed it forward: "You have no power to stop us from moving forward. Surrender is your best choice!"

"Surrender? You let me surrender?!" The man seemed to hear the most funny joke in the world: "Open your eyes! Look around you!"

Group after group of soldiers in chain armor, armed with muskets, lined up from the end of the hall, and even two shotguns followed closely behind them under the impetus of the artillery.

The fat man waved his hands: "Have you ever seen muskets and artillery from the Southern Empire! I have an entire wing under me. If I want to, the cardinal must bow his head under my power!"

"You may not know who I am Morton Kriss, but my family is a famous family of meritorious deeds in the capital city of Tyrol! My ancestors were as early as a thousand years..."

Aldenan straightened his eyes and asked, "Don't you think this guy is a bit...?"

Bulville shook his bull's ears: "He reminds me of those buzzing flies on the carrion~lightnovelpub.net~Randall shook his head helplessly, and shouted at Morton Kriss: "Let's come. This is not to listen to your tirades..."

"Don't interrupt me!" Morton Chris exclaimed displeased: "Asshole! I'll say it again, don't interrupt me! By the way, where did I just say it?"

A small stone flew through the air and fell behind Mortonkris.

In the next second, Karin stuck the dagger on the warden's neck.

"Wait a minute! Don't kill me! Let me finish talking first!"

Karin twitched his arm, and the dagger cut Mortonkris' throat, burying the latter's words in the grave forever.

Aldenan scratched his ears: "It's quiet."
