The red sun hangs westward, reflecting the setting sun in the sea and dyeing the forest along the coast red. Between the coast of the jungle, the wide Tonalá River (Tonalá) is reflecting the deep green forest along the way, floating with quiet golden waves. The long river flows through the dense jungle, flows through a secluded and busy tribal village, and then flows north into the endless and wide Gulf of Mexico.

"Tonalá" means "where the sun rises" in the Nahua language
