Chapter 1024: Ninety-one. The second exorcist

Chapter 1024 Ninety-one. The second exorcist

The low and simple shacks are like slums, but they are not as crowded and dirty as slums.

There are wandering earth dwellers miners everywhere, human beings who appear because of the competition, and a few weird things trimmed here.

"No matter what he says, you shouldn't believe him..."

On the way back, Date did not hide his vigilance against the believers.

"But we are indeed trapped here." Lu Li's eyes fell to the migratory team looking over here.

This is the problem they will eventually face. Unless the exit is in the mining area, unless the Academy of Giant Trees or the Knights occupy this place.

Lu Li handed over the purchased tickets to Midnight City Terminal and Late Night City to the migration team, and even shillings, which were enough for them to enter the outer city and settle down until they started a new life.

   "Please tell us your name..."

The grateful migration team prayed to Lu Li.

   "You'll know."

The believer whispered slowly at this time: "Remember this moment, this will be the only real memory for the rest of your life..."

"what are you saying?"

The survivors were stunned, and Date arched her forelimbs, showing a clear attack intent.

"This is the truth..." The shadow under the believer's cloak sighed: "Even in a late night city, it is difficult for citizens to live past the age of forty. These people are deeply polluted..."

"We'll leave Late Night City at that time."

   The man whispered.

The atmosphere changed from joy to sadness, and finally the man said goodbye to Lu Li and Ida, and led the migration team into the spiral cave.

"I suddenly understand your behavior, this joy after redemption..." Ida looked at their disappearing backs and said.

Fortunately, the believers didn’t say anything bad about the scenery.

Looking back, Lu Li and Ida followed the believers to their hideout, the second floor of a grocery store they rented.

One of the benefits of    earth dwellers: you can exchange money for everything with them. Often they won't betray you until you are tempted by the greater good.

The clutter of footsteps up the stairs made the believers come across three guarded figures.

"You brought other people here? Didn't we say—"

Dark gold perm, the young noble in a gray suit and vest stood up angrily.

Lu Li who followed Nunes, especially Ida, made him feel uneasy. Inhuman players are usually only on the Old Sewer Front or the Dungeon Giant Tree Academy. The former will not be brought by Nunes, and the latter will allow the already allied Knights and Giant Tree Academy to continue to increase their right to speak——

"This is the one who can lead us out of trouble." The believer smiled mysteriously, and asked Lu Li, "Can you?"

Lu Li nodded lightly, stroked his hood, revealing black hair and black eyes.

In the three eyes filled with astonishment, the cultist's voice continued to sound: "No one is against forming an alliance and being pessimistic about the outcome, right?"

"Then I'll officially introduce you." Facing Lu Li, the cultist took off his hood, revealing a pale and ordinary face, and introduced the members of the Loose Alliance: "I am Nunes, the Union of Spiritual Towns; Pasha Rivas, the Five Knights Regiment; Tovani, from the same place as you."

Tovani is a freckled youth, one of the many faces Lu Li saw before entering the fog.

Pasha Rivas, who believed in chivalry, stood upright and lowered his head.

"Greetings from Heinz Ellis from the Council of Nobles."

The young nobleman with dark gold perm refused Nunes' introduction, and took the initiative to kiss his chest and give a noble salute.

"Lu Li, Ida, from Giant Tree Academy, they will join the Relief Alliance." Nunes introduced to the surprised allies.

The arrival of    Lu Li made the Alliance for Relief extremely cohesive - even Heinz Ellis cast aside all doubts.

Although it is rumored that the exorcist and the nobles did not get along well, no one thought that the exorcist would target Heinz Ellis because of this.

   "Your Excellency Lu Li."

Nunez motioned to Lu Li and led him out of the room temporarily.

"The clue to the title Curse of the Swamp is not in my hands... To be exact, it didn't belong to me originally."

Back down the stairs to the first floor, Nunes slowly recounted what happened to him.

"It was a roll of parchment and I didn't know whether to call it a contaminant or a congener or neither... At first, I thought it was a contaminant or a congener, but soon found the problem: the parchment didn't I can't feel any pollution, just like ordinary parchment."

Obviously, no problem is a problem in itself.

Passing the land dwellers behind the grocery store counter, Nunes temporarily shut up and continued on the street: "I found it in a tattered backpack next to the quagmire that appeared. Time and the environment corrode everything, except this roll of parchment. Intact. It introduced itself as Will Ken, the legendary exorcist."

"Will Ken..." Lu Liyin thought about the name.

Nunes hid the parchment in an abandoned hut out of some concern. Also out of some concern, the parchment revealed that it knew about the cursed title in exchange for not being destroyed.

Crawled into the dark alley where no one was in, Nunes pushed open the low wooden door that fit the shape of an earth dweller, and got into the abandoned hut.

The low and cramped house is like a prison, and the head is slightly lowered so that the hair does not touch the ceiling. The only thing that wasn't dusty in the heavily dusty hut was the parchment in the wooden box.

"You kept your promise, Nunes... Who is that man?"

The hoarse whispers of the vicissitudes of life sounded in the hut.

Like Nunes said, Lu Li could not feel any pollution, any malice.

"Someone really interested in cursed titles." Nunes surveyed it: "And an exorcist."

What better way to prove the truth of its words than a true exorcist.

"Not everyone is called an exorcist, child, that's a legacy, a belief, a real power that we can't see and touch."

A power called honor emerges from the whispers of old emotion.

"He is indeed an exorcist, an exorcist who has existed since the old days." Nunes tilted his head to look at Lu Li.

Lu Li took out the eyeball wooden box and summoned the merchant Anthony to appear.

"The merchant's admission can prove my identity." Lu Li stared at the silent parchment. "Now it's your turn."

   "Is it the exorcist?"

"Yes." Merchant Anthony's answer was always indifferent, even though Parchment might be the only exorcist of this age.

   "Once or now?"

"Always."

Lu Li had the answer, and Nunes completely let go of his vigilance against the parchment.

Will Ken, like an old man, said slowly: "Thank you, young exorcist, I'm glad to be recognized after twenty years...and businessman, glad to see you still walking On earth, as an exorcist's companion."

"My name is Will Ken, a former investigator. What about you? Young exorcist."

   "I'm Lu Li."
