Chapter 1921: Unforgivable!

The issue of the three states of Nagalil is still under discussion in detail.

The federal government needs a big list, they are only responsible for electing the governor.

The governor in turn elects the staff of the state government, as well as the mayor.

Then the mayor needs to elect the staff list of the city hall himself.

This is a huge list, which may involve the job transfer of thousands of people.

This does not include some vertical management systems, such as the transfer of personnel such as the Federal Tax Service.

The list will be announced in March, and it will be announced in April. Around the end of May and the beginning of June, these talents will arrive in Nagalil one after another.

The reconstruction work over there is still in progress, and it may take them two years to complete the basic reconstruction.

Then it will take another two years to complete the most basic planning of the three states.

In fact, this is not very fair to the governors who passed the first, because they can't enjoy the fun brought by power, and they can only rush around in various troubles all day long.

They need to rebuild the city, rebuild the entire social system, and they need to take into account the views of the natives of Nagalil.

The establishment of the new three states is not only to prepare for the federal annexation of Nagalil, but also to complete the division of classes in Nagalil.

With so many poor people in Nagalil, it is impossible to incorporate them all into the federal social system.

The method previously proposed by Congress has effectively solved this problem.

They will get the rich Nagalilians to live in the new three states, and those who have no money will stay in the central and western part of Nagalil.

The rich Nagalilians will gradually become federal people, and those poor people will still be poor, and they will still be Nagalilians, not federal people.

Such an approach is very helpful to realize the rule of the Federation, so there is no change in the plan.

Catherine should be very busy during this period. After the three new governors are announced at the Presidential Palace, many people who want to seek the mayor of a city will use her relationship.

Without the appointment of a governor, although the presidential palace can directly appoint the person in charge of the next administrative unit, this is a way to break the rules after all.

The presidential palace won't do that, so they can only find Catherine.

Mr. Truman was thinking about a lot of things. In fact, the reconstruction work on Sedoras was also in progress.

The reunification of the two states created many vacant positions, and they hoped that the Federals would help.

And Marillo.

The future President Mariro is still living in the Federation and is still working **** his studies.

Now Mariro is basically controlled by the federal people.

In the past few years, the Federation has become more and more influential in the world, and more and more areas are actually controlled.

This is pride, but also responsibility.

Thoughts diverged a little disorderly, and somehow returned to a certain point.

Mr. Truman talked about something he thought was very interesting, "Catherine appointed the Speaker of the State Senate, and everyone has some different opinions on her appointment."

Lynch thought of the journalism professor who had been helping Catherine for several years.

Her political ability is beyond doubt, but she has been lacking a chance, and Lynch also thinks that she has no problem in choosing.

After all, Nagalil is far away from the mainland of the Federation, whether it is the Congress or the Presidential Palace, it does not have much influence over there.

The state government and the state assembly have become the two carriages of the ruling class.

As long as the two cooperate well, there won't be any problems.

Lynch tried to guess the reason, "They don't want someone to break the unspoken rules of the parliament?"

Mr Truman nodded and said yes, "Since the founding of the Federation, no woman has walked into Parliament, whether it is a state parliament or Congress."

"The list you submitted broke this rule, and they are worried about whether a woman becoming the speaker of the state senate will affect Congress."

"If there isn't one, they will act soon."

City councilors are not part of the parliamentary system, and anyone can become a city councilor without any background, qualifications, or even a dog.

City councilor isn't a comfortable, empowering job, either.

It is undeniable that some people with strong political backgrounds can do well in the position of city councilor, but not everyone can do that.

They are not interested in whether there are female members of the city councilors, but the state and federal parliaments do not allow women to get involved.

Lynch frowned, "What do you think?"

Mr. Truman didn't understand right away, "What do you mean?"

"The thing about women getting into parliament."

Mr. Truman put a smile on his face. "It's sexist, Lynch."

"Catherine and Trish are outstanding women who are doing a fantastic job and are highly supported where they work."

"This shows that women are not without political wisdom. In Congress, including some old-fashioned people, their ideas should be changed."

He knew Lynch's hope for Catherine, and if nothing else happened, Catherine would run for the president of the Federation.

But it is impossible for her to run for president in her thirties or forties, that is impossible!

The federal government is unlikely to allow a woman to run for president at such a young age, and it is difficult for the social environment to evolve to such a high level of civilization in such a short period of time.

What is Catherine going to do when she returns from a few years as governor of Nagalil?

She can't directly join the party, can she?

The Progressive Party has fewer positions than the federal government. If Catherine wants to join the party, a position must be vacated in the party.

It also doesn't feel right that you have a former governor starting from the bottom.

She must be given a more important position.

The principal positions of each department are definitely not good, so one has to be selected from the first deputy positions of each department.

But even as a deputy, it is still difficult.

Also it would reduce Catherine's influence, which is not the best option.

The best option is for her to keep expanding her influence and keep running for governor from some states, or...

into Congress.

A senator running for president is the most authentic route in federal politics, while a city councilor, then mayor, then governor, then a congressional senator, and then running for president is more in line with the route of a star politician.

Not to mention that her political starting point was as an intern at the presidential palace!

Mr. Truman reminded Lynch not entirely out of consideration for Catherine's future, but more because he hoped that Lynch could stand with him and fight against Congress.

Or, against some stubborn political forces.

It is obviously impossible for him to directly ask Lynch to do that, and it is too political.

But when Lynch's interests overlapped with his own again, he didn't have so many worries.

He looked at Lynch expectantly, looking forward to his performance.

Lynch's brows gradually relaxed, "The development of history tells us that those who are backward will inevitably be eliminated, and no one can stop this!"

Mr. Truman agreed, "Indeed!"

When he came out of the presidential palace... no, it should be said that when Mr. Truman told him that the professor was attacked by some people in Congress, he realized that this was actually a signal sent to him by Mr. Truman.

He has to "bite" someone, and this matter is indeed related to his own vital interests in essence.

Because what he wants to operate is not just Catherine in the Senate alone, but other people, women.

What people worry most about female politicians is that they are too emotional, and they tend to ignore rational choices and results because of their emotions.

Sometimes they just oppose for the sake of opposing, or agree for the sake of agreeing, never considering the series of interests behind it.

It's like you tell the women around you that those skin care products don't actually have much effect on the skin. They will only think that you just don't want to spend money, instead of thinking about whether what you are telling is the truth.

Such a person has entered the highest political hall of the Federation, the Congress, and it is hard not to make a mess here!

Lynch would not object before, but now, he will.

Mr Truman gave him the names of MPs who were very visibly opposed to women in parliament.

After Lynch returned home, he called Landa directly and asked her to come over.

Landa has never left Bu Pain. She has the same ambition and desire as Tracy, so it is even more impossible to leave the core of politics.

When she arrived, she was somewhat different from last time, a little more confident.

Because of the money, Lynch thought so.

In fact, no matter men or women, as long as they have money, they will have self-confidence.

The amount of self-confidence is directly related to the amount of money.

After Landa sat down, Lynch asked directly, "You know...?"

Landa nodded quickly, but she didn't say yes, she just said she knew, but didn't say she knew.

The ghost knows what Lynch's attitude is. Knowing this relationship must mean that both parties have a little friendship, which is tantamount to talking dead.

To know is to know ~lightnovelpub.net~ You can know it or not, so there is enough space.

Lynch continued, "She was recently nominated to be the president of the state senate in one of the three newly formed states of Nagalil, but there were people in Congress who opposed the nomination because of her status as a woman."

Landa was stunned for a moment, and then she realized that she became angry and whispered in a vicious tone, "This is blatant gender discrimination against women!"

As soon as he finished speaking, his expression changed, "You mean..."

Feminist organizations, the entire top echelon, never really wanted to fight for women's rights.

They all regard this organization, their own identity, as a label for their own interests.

Lo and behold, merchants gain women's favor for their wares and political clout for Ms. Tracy and her like.

Except for the middle and lower classes, who will really pay attention to whether women will be discriminated against?

Sexism is just a knife, a knife that gets better and better!
