Chapter 87 Head Covering Accident
"What?" Lin Jiao picked up the teapot.
She poured herself a cup of rose tea: "Are you still brooding about my ex?"
"You think too much."
"Then what's the point of you looking for me?"
"Compensate you." Su Tian took out a check for two million from her bag and pushed it in front of her.
She put on a victorious attitude: "It's really hard for you to take care of Ah Quan for me for so long."
"You should be the one who works hard."
Lin Jiao smiled instead: "After all, during the time I was in love with him, you couldn't do anything."
"If it wasn't for me coming back late, you two would have broken up long ago. Do you really think he loves you very much? Stop joking, okay?"
"It's true that he doesn't love me, but every time he pays me much more than these two million."
These words made Su Tian clench his fists.
She knew that Gu Quan had given her a few cards before, but she didn't want to have so much money.
"So what?" After a few breaths, she stabilized her mind: "I'm different from you, I love him as a person."
"You don't need to emphasize it to me." Lin Jiao raised her eyebrows in confusion: "What the facts are, it's not within my concern."
"I don't care that you still find a sense of existence again and again?"
"Miss Su, I made it very clear from the beginning, are you sure you are not looking for a sense of existence in front of me?"
"I need to find a sense of existence? Don't forget, I'm Ah Quan's girlfriend!"
"Do you have anything to do with me? I don't like him, so it's no use telling me."
Su Tian looked at her overly calm demeanor and realized that she had been being led by the nose.
She doesn't like this feeling, and she doesn't plan to talk nonsense to her again: "You accept the check, don't disturb us in the future."
Lin Jiao unhurriedly opened the wallet.
"I should say this." She took out a dozen red RMB and put them on the table.
"You..." Su Tian caught a glimpse of He Qi's figure from the slightly open door, and quickly lowered his grim expression.
She got up and walked to Lin Jiao's side, her voice suddenly choked: "Miss Lin, do you have to use money to insult me?"
"I don't dare." Lin Jiao was not interested in seeing her convulsing, so she picked up the satchel between her knees and was about to leave.
Su Tian grabbed her wrist.
"I know you blame me." She wanted to cry: "But Ah Quan is my everything, don't you take him away, okay?"
"You really should see a psychiatrist." Lin Jiao glanced at her red eyes impatiently.
Just as she was about to break Su Tian's hand, she saw her panicked and fell on the cushion next to her.
A burst of sobbing and scolding sounded at the same time.
He Qi angrily ran forward, and when the disgusting face turned around, he pushed her with all his strength.
“Boom—”
Unprepared Lin Jiao leaned back, and before she could find a support point, the back of her head hit the sharp corner of the table.
She fell to the wall, her slightly trembling eyelids shrugged, but she lost consciousness within a few seconds.
"Blood..." Su Tian stared at the wall stained with a few drops of blood, her voice trembling with fright.
She dragged He Qi, who was still confused: "Why did you push her? What if she died?!"
He Qi panicked until his scalp went numb.
He walked over in a chaotic manner, probed her breath, and when he felt a touch of warmth, his hanging heart fell.
"Not dead, still alive."
"Then hurry up and take her to the hospital!" Su Tian didn't want her to have an accident, let alone the consequences, so she kept urging him.
"I'll find someone to deliver it."
He Qi called the driver waiting outside the door.
He held Su Tian's shoulders and made up his mind to protect her: "This matter has nothing to do with you. If the police come to you, you will put the blame on me. Don't be stupid, you know?"
Su Tian's eyes flashed.
She threw herself into his arms in fear: "But there is surveillance here, I'm so scared."
"I'll take care of the monitoring."
He Qi was distracted by her behavior, so he reached out and hugged her back without regard for shame: "Don't worry."
"Hmm." Su Tian shrugged the tip of her nose.
She watched the driver take Lin Jiao out of the restaurant, and followed He Qi to handle the monitoring without worry.
They have no guilt, no worries, all they can think about is how to get out of their bodies and how to cover up the accident perfectly.

Tongji Hospital.
"Please give way in front!" Several nurses pushed the mobile bed towards the emergency department.
That anxious voice attracted Shen Yi who had just finished an operation and was about to go home to sleep.
He looked to the right, and when he accidentally caught a glimpse of the familiar face, his brain buzzed with shock.
"What happened to the patient?" Shen Yi put the car keys back in his pocket and followed their pace.
"Posterior cranial hemorrhage leading to coma."
"What's the heart rate?"
One of the nurses lowered his head and looked at the heart rate tester worn by the patient: "Eighty-seven."
Shen Yi breathed a sigh of relief.
He briefly exchanged a few words with the doctor on duty, and called Pei Zhi and Zhou Yanshen respectively.
Pei Zhi was the first to arrive at the hospital. He stepped on the pair of slippers under his feet and ran desperately to the emergency department.
"How is she?" He took two breaths, the hand that was holding Shen Yi's arm tightened.
"Still sewing."
Shen Yi dragged him to the stool next to him and sat down.
He told him in an easy-to-understand way: "She doesn't have much bleeding, so she doesn't need a craniotomy."
"Where else? Are there any injuries?"
"At present, only bruises on the elbow and right shoulder have been found, which should have been bruised when he fainted."
"Hmm." Pei Zhi's hands were still shaking.
He stared at the door of the emergency department, his heart seemed to be restrained by a rope, making it difficult for him to even breathe.
Shen Yi also paid attention to that side.
When he saw the nurse pushing the bed out, he and Pei Zhi transferred her to the inpatient department.
"Don't worry." He put on Pei Zhi's shoulder: "She will be able to…"
A loud bang interrupted him.
Zhou Yanshen, who didn't stop, slammed open the door.
He wiped the water droplets from the ends of his hair and looked at the pale Lin Jiao: "What happened?"
Shen Yi repeated her condition.
He pulled away the chair: "I don't know exactly how it hit the back of the head. The person who sent her over has already left."
"Male and female?"
"I heard from the nurse that it was a middle-aged man."
"Middle-aged man?" Zhou Yanshen guessed when Pei Zhi said he sent Lin Jiao to the community, "Could it be her neighbor?"
"No." Pei Zhi wet the cotton swab and gently smeared her lips: "Her neighbors are a pair of elderly people in their seventies."
"Could it be their son?"
"Jiaojiao didn't go home at all."
"How did you see it?" Zhou Yanshen took the towel handed over by Shen Yi and wiped his wet hair.
"She didn't change her pajamas, and the bag was there."
Pei Zhi freed up one hand and threw her bag to Zhou Yanshen with a condensed expression: "Check her call records."
Zhou Yan rummaged through to find his phone.
He checked all the communication software, but found nothing: "Let's adjust the monitoring."
