Harry Potter and the Old Ones

Chapter 102: Gilderoy Lockhart

"Oh, you are here, that's great," said Mrs. Weasley! She was short of breath and patted her hair incessantly. "We'll see him soon..."

Gradually, they saw Gilderoy Lockhart.

He sits behind the desk, surrounded by large photographs of himself, all faces winking at the crowd, flashing dazzlingly white teeth.

The real Lockhart wore a forget-me-not blue robe that matched his blue eyes. The pointed wizard hat was worn playfully on one of the curls.

A short, short-tempered man held up a large black camera and jumped back and forth to take pictures.

Every time the flash flashed dazzlingly, a cloud of purple smoke spewed out of the camera.

"Get out of the way," he yelled to Ron, stepping back to pick a better angle. "This is for the Daily Prophet."

"Oh, that's amazing." Ron said, rubbing the instep of the man's sore foot.

Gilderoy Lockhart seemed to hear Ron's complaint, he raised his head and looked at Ron's side, and then his eyes arrogantly swept over the people beside Ron——

A middle-aged woman who was as dirty as Ron, a little girl with messy hair, a rather cute little Asian boy, and a disgraced, thin little boy standing next to him.

Gilderoy Lockhart looked at Harry carefully from head to toe, then suddenly jumped up and said, "Oh Merlin's beard! Isn't this Harry Potter?"

The crowd automatically gave way and whispered excitedly. Lockhart rushed forward, grabbed Harry by the arm, and pulled him forward to a round of applause.

Harry felt a little fever on his face, and looked at Tiera for help...

But then there was a flash of the short man's flash, which made Harry feel a little dizzy.

Lockhart held Harry's hand tightly for the photographer to take a picture.

The short man frantically pressed the shutter again and again.

"That's a beautiful smile, Harry." Lockhart himself showed his gleaming teeth. "The two of us can make the headlines."

Harry's fingers were numb when he finally let go of Harry's hand.

Harry tried to slip back to Tiera, but Lockhart still had one arm over his shoulder, holding him firmly beside him.

"Ladies and gentlemen," said Lockhart loudly, waving to silence, "what an extraordinary moment! I'm taking this wonderful occasion to announce a little thing that I've been holding on to for a while. never said."

"When young Harry walked into Lichen Bookstore today, he just wanted to buy my autobiography, and I was willing to give this book to him for free on the spot." There was another round of applause.

"But what he doesn't know is—" Lockhart continued, shaking Harry so that his glasses slipped up the tip of his nose.

"He will soon get something more valuable than my novel "The Magical Me". In fact, he and his classmates will get a real, magical me!"

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am extremely happy and proud to announce that this September, I will be the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!"

The crowd clapped and cheered, and Harry found himself in possession of Gilderoy Lockhart's full book, so heavy that he wobbled a little while walking.

He managed to get out of the center of public attention and come to the wall—

Tiera was already crowded there by the restless crowd.

"Here are these for you." Harry wanted to put the book in Tiera's hand, but Tiera didn't take it, "I'll buy it myself—"

"No need Harry." Tiera said, "I have already bought my book and sent it back to Owl."

"Then these books..." Harry asked somewhat bewildered, this was the first time Tiera refused to accept his gift.

"Let's go, let's sell them to those witches outside." Tiera took four copies from Harry's hand, holding them with one hand and pulling Harry's sleeve with the other, and came to the waiting room for signing. The end of the long queue for sale—

Then Ron and Hermione got Gilderoy Lockhart's autograph, as did the Weasley twins.

Harry's nine Gilderoy Lockhart books sold for a total of 180 Galleons—

He was hacked from 270 gold Galleons to 180 gold Galleons by a shrewd witch, but Tiera did not lose, leaving the witch's contact information, Tiera showed her identity as a Hogwarts student, and now After the signing ceremony has passed for so long, the news that Gilderoy Lockhart is about to serve at Hogwarts has gradually spread out——

So Tiera promised to sell her autographed photos at a price of two gold, five silver and five silvers after the school started——

Tiera has a camera, and the film he needs is provided by the witch.

The three books in Hermione's hands sold for a total of 170 Galleons, which is almost catching up with Harry's nine books, because Hermione asked Gilderoy Lockhart to sign four books in addition to the autograph. There are additional words left on the -

"You Are the Most Beautiful Girl - Gilderoy Lockhart" sold for forty Galleons.

"Your beauty is so heartwarming that I can't help but indulge in your pomegranate skirt - Gilderoy Lockhart" This book sold for fifty Galleons.

"Your smile is like a cloud in spring, your voice is like a nightingale in summer, your skin is like snow in winter, you are my muse, my Venus - Gilderoy Lockhart" Ben is the highest, selling for seventy-five Galleons.

There is also a book: "You are the smartest witch I have ever seen - Gilderoy Lockhart", which is hidden by Hermione.

And so did George, Fred, and Ron Weasley.

Ron only sold two copies.

George and Fred, on the other hand, saw a business opportunity, one stood in line, while the other ran to the end of the line holding a book—

It's a pity that the witches quickly saw through their thoughts. George and Fred only sold seven copies for fifteen gold Galleons, and they were angrily driven away by the owner of the Blossom Bookstore—

They didn't even earn as much as Hermione.

"Go! Tiera, let's go shopping!" Hermione arrogantly grabbed Tiera's sleeve and said~lightnovelpub.net~Tiera:? ? ?

Don't you really take me as a compliment, right?

Let me tell you, I am not selling myself.

Perhaps because Lucius Malfoy was frightened by Tiera pretending to be Voldemort, the father and son of the Malfoy family didn't come to the Glitter Bookstore, and they weren't even in Diagon Alley.

When Tiera was just shopping, he noticed through the Mark of the Dark Lord that Lucius Malfoy and Draco Malfoy had already disappeared within Tiera's sensing range.

Without the arrival of Lucius, naturally there would be no fight between Lucius and Arthur Weasley.

But Dobby was still far behind Tiera.

A few children—mostly Tiera, Harry, Hermione, and Ron strolled down Diagon Alley again in the afternoon.

Ron bought some candies, two fragrant fire dragon sausages, and a pair of fried lizard legs.

Harry bought Tiera a new cauldron—

It can be used to cook hot pot, Tiera thought.

On the other hand, Hermione took a few people and returned to the Lishen Bookstore after the signing ceremony, and invested half of the first pot of gold she earned on books——

Except I bought a lot of books myself.

Also gave Tiera several copies of "The Complete Alchemy Technique", "History of Potions", "Black Facts" and...

"How to Pursue a Witch"

Tiera: ? ? ?

With a question mark on his face, he put the last book "How to Pursue a Witch" back on the shelf.

"I only have learning in my heart, and learning makes me happy." Tiera said, "I don't want to fall in love."

Tiera saw the angry look in Hermione's eyes. Looking straight at her and saying, "I don't want to be in a relationship with anyone."
