Harry Potter and the Old Ones

Chapter 575: course selection

After breakfast, Professor Tierra and investigator Tierra left the auditorium, while student Tierra stayed in the auditorium with Hermione, Ron, and Harry, waiting for Professor McGonagall to distribute the course selection list.

"I love it so much," said Ron, after taking the last bite of the fishcake.

"Use this time to study well, Ron!" said Hermione.

"Yes, studies, but not today," said Ron, "today will be easy, I think..."

"Stop!" Hermione held out her arms to stop a fourth year student, who was trying to slip past her with a teal saucer.

"It is forbidden to use fang flying saucers in the auditorium hall, confiscated!" she said sternly.

The scowling boy handed over the whining saucer and ducked under her arm to catch up with his friends.

Ron waited for him to disappear, and snatched the flying saucer from Hermione: "Great, I've always wanted to have such a thing."

"Ro! Na! De!" Hermione called out Ron's full name angrily, "We didn't confiscate things for you to play with!"

"What does it matter, anyway, it's impossible to return to their hands." Ron said and hid the sharp-tooth flying saucer in his arms again.

"Ron, you—" Hermione wanted to say something angrily.

But her protest was drowned out by a burst of loud laughter.

Lavender Brown obviously found Ron's words very interesting. She was still smiling as she passed them, looking back at Ron.

Ron was even more smug now.

"You are unreasonable." Hermione complained.

The ceiling of the hall is pure blue, with a few wisps of white clouds floating there, just like the sky seen from the tall long window.

"Oh, by the way, have you...uh...have you talked to Hagrid?" Hermione asked.

"He shouldn't think we're going to continue Care of Fantastic Creatures!" Hermione added urgently, looking a little sad, "I, I mean, when did we show... um... you know... a hint of interest?" look?"

"Yeah, but, no?" said Ron, taking out his fang saucer and fiddling with it. "We like Hagrid, yes, so we're the hardest-working students in the class, but he thinks we like this subject." Stupid class. Do you think anyone will take this class in .Wt?"

Neither Harry nor Hermione answered, and needless to say, they both knew that absolutely no one in sixth year was going to continue Care of Fantastic Creatures. Ten minutes later, when Hagrid left the teaching bench and waved to them cheerfully, they could only brace themselves to respond.

"Then I will choose." Tierra said casually, "To be honest, I don't think this course is difficult for me at all."

"Really? Tierra!" Hermione seemed relieved, "That's great!"

So did Harry and Ron.

"I will tell Hagrid that you have to reluctantly give up his course because of the conflict of courses." Tierra said, "Just say that Mrs. Weasley asked Ron to choose...well...whatever he and The two of you have to accompany the class that conflicts with the class of Protection of Fantastic Beasts."

"That's even better!" said Hermione, nodding.

Finally, Professor McGonagall came to their side and sent them the course selection list.

Neville took a little longer to choose courses, watching Professor McGonagall study his application form and .Ls grades, his round face was full of nervousness.

"Herbology class, very good." Professor McGonagall said, "Professor Sprout saw you got an O in the . Eligible to go on to Dark Arts... Problem is Transfiguration, I'm sorry, Longbottom, your A's won't let you go on to .Wt, don't think you can handle that."

Neville looked down as Professor McGonagall stared at him through square-rimmed glasses. "Then why did you have to take Transfiguration? I don't recall you particularly enjoying it."

Neville muttered pitifully, "Grandma wants to..."

"Tch." Professor McGonagall snorted. "Your grandma should be proud of the grandson she has now, not the grandson she imagined, especially after the battle at the Ministry of Magic."

Neville blushed and blinked wildly.

Professor McGonagall had never praised him before.

"I'm sorry, Longbottom, I can't let you take my .Wt level class. But I see you got an O in your Charms exam, why not try your .Wt level Charms class? "

"Grandma doesn't think Charms is worth taking..." Neville muttered.

"Just take the Charms class." Professor McGonagall said happily, "I will remind Augusta not to think that this class is meaningless just because she failed the .Ls exam in Charms class."

Smiling at the unbelievable happiness on Neville's face, Professor McGonagall picked up a blank class schedule and clicked it with his wand. Neville's course selection plan appeared on it, and he handed it to him.

Tierra took all the available courses this semester, and then returned the course selection list to Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall looked at Tierra's course selection list, frowned and said, "Do you have time to take so many courses?"

Tierra didn't speak, just took out her right eye and put it on the palm of her hand—

His right eyeball instantly turned into a light golden miniature hourglass wrapped in transparent glass.

Both McGonagall and Hermione knew what it was.

After the show, Tierra stuffed the small hourglass back into the right eye socket, turning it back into a golden right eyeball.

"Don't be so scary in the future." Mag said with lingering fear.

"Okay, Professor McGonagall." Tiera said.

Although Tierra has chosen so many classes~lightnovelpub.net~, he doesn't plan to attend every class.

Anyway, Hogwarts' final grades were calculated based on the usual homework and final grades. Except for the Protection of Fantastic Beasts class and the first-year broom class that Hagrid replaced before, the usual attendance was not important at all.

Hermione just glanced at the course selection list, and quickly decided on the next course to take—

Hermione didn't take many courses this semester. She only took Charms, Black Arts, Defense, Transfiguration, Herbalism, Magical Arithmetic, Ancient Norse and Potions, and she immediately started studying ancient The first stanza in Nordic.

It seems that the experience of the third grade finally made her understand the truth of chewing too much.

So Hermione only chose those courses that she had to study, and the rest of the time Hermione decided to prepare for the Common Entrance Examination to the University of Magic.

"So what about you? Harry." After Professor McGonagall took away Tierra and Hermione's course selection list, he turned his gaze to Harry.
