  The compound located on Dongzheng Street in Juncheng can be described as an uncompromising mansion. It is truly worthless, but if compared with Xu Yishan's retreat, it is nothing.

   Or overlooked from a high altitude, this is a valley surrounded by hills on all sides.

In the valley, there are flowing water everywhere, such as waterfalls, pools, springs, streams, lakes, swamps, etc., and all kinds of trees, flowers and plants use water as their source, and they thrive in this stream. in the valley.

  Green, refreshing green.

  Clear, clear mind and calm mind.

  This is not an ordinary valley, this is a spiritual land, and it is the leading spiritual land in the entire Dongshan Mountain.

   In the very center of the valley, on the edge of a small lake, stood three thatched cottages.

The outside of the thatched hut is either flowers, plants or trees, completely covered by greenery. From a bird's-eye view, the hut cannot be seen at all, but the interior of the hut is quite elaborate, or made of stone, wood, or Between wood and stone.

  One of them is Xu Yishan's meditation retreat.

   There is only a small door and no window, and the interior is empty, except for a straw mat on the wooden floor.

  The other room is the study.

  The windows are opened on the left and right, and there are a lot of books hanging on the walls, and those books, whether on display or closed, are all written by Xu Yishan himself.

  There is another room, which is used for living and leisure, with beds, drinks and food.

   In this retreat, Xu Yishan's routine was very regular.

   Wake up early in the morning, walk around the lake and through the valley, and slowly and deeply breathe out the old and take in the new among the water and grass trees full of spiritual energy.

   Occasionally, the county governor who is in a county, this high-level monk who has achieved great success, will climb up a tree like a monkey on a whim.

   Of course, he is not "climbing", and his movements are much more flexible than monkeys. Just a little lightly with his feet, he will go up to the tree, or directly to the top of the tree, and then he will stand on the top of the tree and stand facing the sun.

   Occasionally, he also stretches out his hand.

   Then, from north to south, east to west, far or near, some birds living in this valley "flyed" to his palm, or landed on his palm, or hung in front of him.

   This high-level monk will play pranks like a child, watching those birds escape in different postures after being stunned.

   And so on, after about two or three hours of activity, Xu Yishan will return to the thatched cottage where he retreats and spend a morning in meditation.

   After meditating, Xu Yishan will go to the living cottage.

   Sip wine or water, enjoy the surrounding scenery through the wide open window bars, or lie directly on the bed and rest for a while.

   In the afternoon, Xu Yishan basically spends his time in his study.

   He will pick up a large or small pen and write large or small words on a large or small piece of paper.

   paper, like rice paper.

A    pen is a writing brush.

   This is a scene that is more than 90% similar to ancient China on the earth, and even 100% is not an exaggeration.

  Xu Yishan writes at will, at will.

  Before this retreat, he had emptied all the things he had written in the study before, and this retreat, he was using the way of writing at will, combing the past years, past practice and practice.

   "Book means cultivation, practice, law, and Tao."

  On the first day of the retreat, Xu Yishan looked at the lake and mountain outside the cottage, thought for a while, and wrote these words.

   He was accepted as a disciple by his teacher at the age of nine.

   At that time, because of age, he could not practice cultivation yet, but the teacher taught him to write, and also told him that writing can be calm, calm, clear, and concentrated.

A word    has more or less strokes, each stroke is written well, not in a hurry, not in a hurry, slow and moderate, this is called "rehabilitation".

   repair is that stroke by stroke, accumulated over time.

  A word, horizontally in a row, vertically in a column, between words, between rows and rows, between columns and columns, there is a lot of attention.

   It is possible that this word is good and that word is bad.

   It is possible that this word is good and that word is good, but it is not good to read the two words together.

  The teacher said back then, this is called "walking".

  Doing is the way to advance and retreat, as well as the way to gain and lose.

   To jump out of the field of vision of a word, and consider the whole word.

  If there is no complete planning and vision for the entire banner, then even if every word is written carefully, carefully, and well, the entire banner may not be very good.

   Or not only bad, but bad.

   This is to know only the small but not the big, only to go further and not to retreat, only to know the gain but not the loss.

   These are all ignorant of the "law".

The    method is the degree.

   There is a degree of pitch, and a degree of advance and retreat.

   There is a degree of gain and loss, and a degree of profit and loss.

   As for the "Tao" other than "Fa", the teacher did not say much at that time.

After writing the word   , Xu Yishan thought about it, but he just shook his head and smiled.

   This whole afternoon, Xu Yishan just wrote these words, um, nine words.

   is just nine short characters, but under his pen, it presents a thousand-changing posture, horizontal or vertical, square or round, lined up, or connected end to end.

   or nine characters are not the same size, one character is as big as a tree, and the other characters are like flowers and plants, or like birds, or like clouds and water, relying on, hovering, and embellishing among the big trees.

   Or two characters are attached to each other, and the other seven characters are arranged around.

   and so on, the list goes on.

Among them, if the image and momentum are described by water, it may be like flowing water, or like a waterfall hanging in the river, or like a still shadow sinking into a jade, or like a turbid wave empties, or like water glittering, or like a tide ebb and flow ...

   is dazzling and magnificent.

The nine characters    form a complicated world of "action" and "law".

   This is also Xu Yishan's world.

   is the world inside and the world outside.

   is the imaginary world of the heart and mind, and the real world of knowledge and action.

  From the afternoon to the evening, Xu Yishan had a room full of books, and the walls and floor of the study were all covered with these banners.

   When the sun was about to set, Xu Yishan gathered up these banners and set them on fire by the small lake outside the cottage.

After the    banners were all reduced to ashes, a pot of wine, which was loosely supported by several branches, was boiling hot and ready to drink.

   The aroma of the wine was overflowing, Xu Yishan casually flicked some wine into the lake, attracting many small fishes to come up to fight for food, and there was a calm lake a moment ago, and a group of fishes swarmed in an instant.

  Xu Yishan watched the play with a smile, and spent the first night of this retreat in a pot of fine wine.

   "Condensation of Qi is great, not afraid of cold and heat. Tongmai is great, and disease is not caused. Opening of the body is great, and longevity is doubled."

   The next day, in the study, Xu Yishan wrote such words.

   In this line of words, this afternoon, Xu Yishan recalled the experience of condensing qi, opening the pulse, and opening the body from the beginning of cultivation.

  It was a long time ago, but when I think about it now, it is still the same as yesterday.
