v1 Chapter 370: two big fools

  Chapter 370 Two big fools

"See if you can fool around, what's the inside and outside of the wooden house."

"Without you, I can fool you, and you still fill the cabin with lies."

Through voice transmission, the two felt that the other was fooling.

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva does not dislike Jiang Li and Bai Hongtu's approach. If Yuan Wuxing has found another way, then these two people are jumping out of the original framework and looking at the problem from a completely different perspective.

Buddhism advocates this way of thinking.

Although Xiang Xiang Bodhisattva was deceived by Jiang Li and wanted to curse.

"Can the two of you want to join my Buddhism?"

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva feels that these two cultivators in the transformation stage have the roots of wisdom and Buddha nature. If they can enter the Buddhist gate, they can be like Bodhisattvas and Arhats.

Both of them have changed their appearances and concealed their cultivation bases. To outsiders, they are just two ordinary cultivators in the transformation stage.

Jiang Li waved his hand: "No, no."

Before he became a human emperor, Old Buddha Xumi believed that Jiang Li had a profound Buddha nature, and invited him to join Buddhism many times, and regarded him as the next Buddha Lord.

However, Jiang Li politely refused, which made Old Buddha Xumi really regretful.

"I want to try." Bai Hongtu is eager to try, he has long been tired of being the suzerain of the Taoist sect, and thinks it is time for a change, to go to the Buddhist sect to show off his talents.

Jiang Li was worried that Changcun Xianweng would break Bai Hongtu's leg, so he pulled him aside and refused for him.

"This person's intentions are not righteous, I'm afraid it will disturb the purity of Buddhism, let's forget it."

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva didn't take it seriously, she didn't think Bai Hongtu had such a great ability to disturb the purity of Buddhism, but she saw Jiang Li's firm attitude, so she had to give up.

The first test allowed many people to harvest the "Diamond Sutra", but they did not give up, thinking that they might not be able to show themselves in the second test and make the inheritance interested in them.

The Fragrant Elephant Bodhisattva swayed the bodhi leaves, and everyone came to a small separate space again.

They found themselves practicing in the woods when a harpy was chasing a dove in the sky. The pigeon saw the monk when he was desperate, and flew into his sleeve, trying to escape.

"The second test starts now, to protect the pigeons from being eaten by the eagle."

  …

A monk saw that the eagle demon's cultivation base was low, and he smiled disdainfully.

"How dare the Eagle Demon in the Foundation Establishment Period be so arrogant?"

After finishing speaking, the harpies will be killed to protect the pigeons.

A copy of "Avatamsaka Sutra" appeared in his hands, saving the eagle demon.

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva saw that the monk was puzzled, and explained: "Killing a soul just to save a soul is not in line with Buddhist philosophy."

Galphies and pigeons are creatures raised by Buddhism, not false existences.

  …

Yuan Wuxing protects the pigeon, but he also knows that he cannot hurt the eagle demon.

"God has the virtue of loving life. Why can't this pigeon be released?"

The eagle demon asked: "I released the pigeon, so the pigeon is alive, but I will be starved to death. Does God only like pigeons, but not me?"

Yuan Wuxing gritted his teeth and said, "I am willing to exchange the same weight of meat for the life of a pigeon."

"That's fine." Ying Yao took out a scale, put the pigeon on the other side of the scale, and signaled Yuan Wuxing to cut the flesh.

Yuan Wuxing took out a knife and slowly cut the flesh.

For some reason, Yuan Wuxing, who was in the stage of transforming into a god, couldn't cut off the pain, endured the pain of being cut by a knife, and cut off an equal amount of meat to the eagle demon.

And he couldn't heal the wound.

The balance was still tilted towards the pigeon, and the eagle demon said blankly: "You have cut less meat."

Yuan Wuxing had no choice but to continue to endure the pain and cut the flesh. He kept cutting the flesh, but found that the balance was always on the pigeon's side.

Yuan Wuxing understands that Buddhism emphasizes the equality of all beings, and exchanging part of one's own flesh for the lives of pigeons is obviously an expression of inequality. Only by dedicating one's own life can the balance be balanced.

Yuan Wuxing apologized: "I can't exchange my life for the lives of pigeons, so I give up this test."

But Yuan Wuxing waited for a long time, but he didn't see the consolation prize given to him by the secret realm.

The eagle demon explained with a smile: "Although you didn't sacrifice your life, it is rare to be able to comprehend the mystery."

The eagle demon brought Yuan Wuxing back to the secret realm of sentient beings, and Yuan Wuxing's wounds healed quickly.

  …

"Dare to grab food with me!" Bai Hongtu kicked the eagle demon into the air, and the eagle demon suddenly felt dizzy and lost his mind.

After the eagle demon maintained its balance, it still felt dizzy, but it couldn't bear to return to normal, and immediately rushed to Bai Hongtu.

"What are you doing!" The eagle demon looked at Bai Hongtu in horror. This man actually started roasting pigeons on fire. Does he have any humanity?

"Of course I eat pigeons. If I don't eat pigeons, would I eat you?" Bai Hongtu said naturally.

The eagle demon can't understand Bai Hongtu's logic, doesn't this person want to pass the test?

The pigeon and the eagle demon are both raised by Buddhism. The eagle demon and the pigeon are good brothers, and the eagle demon can't just watch the good brother be eaten.

"Then you eat me!" the eagle demon said fiercely.

Bai Hongtu thought for a while: "That's fine, but I won't eat all of it. I'll eat as much meat as the pigeons have."

Harpie took out the scales and took the initiative to cut the flesh, grinning in pain.

Bai Hongtu was expressionless: "Not enough, the balance is still tilted towards the pigeon."

The eagle demon endured the pain and cut the flesh repeatedly, while Bai Hongtu continued to remind him "not enough".

In the end, the eagle demon had to jump onto the scale by himself, which made the balance balance.

Seeing the Eagle Demon’s attitude of resigning himself to death, Bai Hongtu smiled and said in relief, “I will not really eat you. It’s rare for you to realize that all living beings are equal, so let’s go.”

The eagle demon thanked Bai Hongtu, but halfway through, he suddenly felt that its position with Bai Hongtu was reversed?

  …

"Why do you want to eat pigeons? Can't you not eat them?" Jiang Li asked the eagle demon curiously.

The eagle demon was impatient with Jiang Li's question, so he simply took out the scale and said, "If I don't eat it, I will eat you. You choose one."

Jiang Li thought for a while, then continued: "If you eat me, can you guarantee that you won't eat pigeons?"

"Of course I can guarantee it."

"How can you guarantee it? You eagle demon is very murderous and insists on eating meat. I don't believe you."

   "I can promise."

"I do not believe."

"I swear."

   "I can't even swear."

Harpie was helpless: "Then what do you say?"

"In this way, if you write a guarantee and say that you will never eat pigeons again, I will believe you."

Jiang Li took out a pen and paper, and wrote a letter of guarantee for the eagle demon to press its claws.

The Eagle Demon didn't want to deal with Jiang Li's brown candy anymore, so he wanted to press his claws quickly to end the test.

"I'm done pressing, can I eat you now?"

Jiang Li put away the letter of guarantee: "Of course not, I still want to live."

"Then I'll eat the pigeon!" The eagle demon threatened, whether this guy still wants to pass the test.

Jiang Li showed the letter of guarantee: "You have promised that you will never eat pigeons again."

The eagle demon stared: "The premise is that I ate you!"

"This premise is not written in the guarantee letter."

Only then did the eagle demon realize that he had been deceived.

  …

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva clasped his palms together and said happily, "Fortunately, these two people were not allowed to enter my Buddhist gate."
