Chapter 329: find a teacher

   Chapter 329 Finding the Master

As soon as these words came out, all the monks looked solemn.

They are not stupid, of course they know that Shao Mingyuan's analysis makes sense.

In the middle of the night, if you are not someone you trust, how can you open the door and let him in? This just shows that the murderer is undoubtedly a monk in the temple. And this realization made all the monks present feel heavy.

"Kongyun, gather all the disciples in the temple to gather in the temple." The abbot instructed.

The leader monk Kongyun said yes.

Soon after, the thick sound of bells echoed in the mountain temples.

It was silent in the middle of the night, and the bells sounded so far away that even those who travelled day and night at the foot of Luoxia Mountain rushing to clear the mountain road were awakened.

Jiang Eleven jumped up and came to Shao Zhi: "What happened in the temple? Has there been any news from Lord Hou?"

"No." Shao Zhi replied angrily, looking towards the mountain temple.

Many people at the foot of the mountain have no intention of sleeping.

The sleeping monks in the temple all woke up and hurriedly put on their monk robes and rushed to the main hall.

Shao Mingyuan and Qiao Zhao, as outsiders, have been watching silently.

"Are you sleepy?" Shao Mingyuan suddenly asked.

In the night, the girl's eyes were bright and she shook her head gently: "How can I fall asleep."

"Don't worry, that person didn't hold his breath, but instead exposed himself, and the truth will be revealed soon."

"Yes, I just don't know how Shi Tai is." Qiao Zhao glanced at the abbot from afar.

The abbot    seemed to have a feeling, and nodded slightly to the two of them.

Under the arrangement of the abbot, all monks, regardless of age, were divided into several teams to search everyone's residence room by room. The light in Dafu Temple was as bright as day, and the lanterns did not go out until the sky was bright.

The monks returned to the main hall to gather and found nothing.

The leading monk Kong Yun said: "Abbot, all the disciples' residences have been searched, and there is nothing unusual. I think it is better to ask Miss Li's driver and maid to come out and ask for more information."

"Master why don't you wait any longer?"

"What are you waiting for? Lord Hou said that the murderer was a monk in my temple, but so far nothing unusual has been found, but those two people have many doubts. Even if they are not the murderer, they must have something to do with the murderer."

"It's related, my maid saw the appearance of Orion's companion." Qiao Zhao suddenly said.

The monks were taken aback, and the leader, Kong Yun, was even more stern: "If that's the case, why didn't Miss Li say it earlier?"

Qiao Zhao smiled: "Speak up early, so that the real murderer will kill and silence?"

"Then ask the female benefactor to come out and identify the murderer." Kongyun said coldly.

Qiao Zhao didn't answer, and turned his head to look at the abbot.

The abbot    said solemnly, "Everyone, don't be impatient, just wait."

"What are the abbots waiting for?" Kongyun asked in confusion.

The abbot smiled and said nothing.

Two quarters of an hour later, a young monk came in and whispered a few words in the abbot's ear. The abbot nodded again and again, his face beaming with joy.

After the young monk finished speaking, he stepped aside, the abbot looked around at the crowd, and said with a smile, "The Master has already found it."

"Shita found it?" The monks looked at each other in surprise, and asked, "Abbot, where is Shitai? How did you find it?"

These people have been searching everyone's residence. When did the abbot order someone to find Shitai?

The monks couldn't help looking at the young monk, and then they suddenly realized: Jingxu, the younger disciple of the previous abbot, had never appeared, just because Jingxu was young and had low qualifications, no one paid attention.

"Kongyun, now you can talk about it, why did you kidnap Shitai and kill the first one?" The abbot asked suddenly looking at Kongyun.

As soon as these words came out, it was like a thunderstorm fell on the heads of the monks, and everyone couldn't help but retreat to the side, revealing the empty clouds.

Kongyun looked shocked: "What does the abbot mean by this? The disciple doesn't understand!"

"Jingxu, tell Kongyun, where did Shitai find it?"

Jingxu bowed to the abbot and said loudly, "Teacher found it in the Gumi warehouse."

The eyes of the monks looking at Kongyun were a little more strange.

Kongyun still didn't change his face: "Although the disciple is the deputy temple in charge of the warehouse, the fact that Shitai was found in the warehouse does not mean that it has something to do with the disciple."

The abbot    looked solemn, looked at Kongyun, shook his head and sighed: "Last night Champion Hou and Miss Li went to my place before leaving, and described the most likely appearance of the murderer: thin, half-way monk, and going out at any time without causing suspicion."

"There are not a few disciples who meet these requirements."

The abbot    took a deep look at Kongyun and asked calmly, "What if you could have almost starved to death at the foot of the mountain as a refugee or a beggar many years ago?"

   Kongyun's expression stiffened.

The abbot sighed: "I ordered the disciples to look through the roster overnight. There are no more than seven disciples who meet this point in the past 20 years, and among these seven people who meet the three points at the same time, you are the only one."

Kongyun laughed: "So the abbot has long suspected the disciple? But just based on the random speculation of two outsiders, will the disciple be convicted?"

   "Xinhai—"

Another middle-aged monk stepped forward, holding a tray on which folded clothes were placed.

Seeing the clothes on the tray, Kongyun's complexion changed.

"This is the pilgrim's clothes searched from Senior Brother Kongyun's room, and there are bloodstains on it."

The abbot    looked at Kongyun deeply: "Kongyun, what else do you have to say?"

Kongyun stared at the abbot with an unpredictable expression on his face. After a long time, he sighed: "So the abbot played a good show, and the disciples in the assembled temple were led by me to search around, just so that I would not have time to deal with the blood clothes, right?"

"Take down the empty cloud." The abbot turned his back.

The monks who had been waiting by the side immediately surrounded Kong Yun.

"It's too late..." Kongyun reluctantly said this sentence, black blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

As early as the moment he saw Jingxu appear, he had already bitten through the poison sac hidden in his teeth.

Kongyun stared above and murmured, "I really regret—"

If he hadn't relented and begged his companions to keep Jingxi's life because of the kindness of a meal back then, wouldn't there be a flaw that would make him suspect?

Kongyun's eyes widened, and he was exhausted.

Everyone heard what he did not say at the end, but they could never guess what he regretted.

"Amitabha—" the abbot sighed, "Jingxu, you lead the way, let's see how Shitai is doing."

When Qiao Zhao saw Shitai Wumei, Shitai Wumei was leaning on the pillow, his expression was weak, but his eyes were calm.

"You guys are here." Master Wumei pulled the corner of his lips, "Senior abbot, I want to talk to Miss Li alone."

The abbot    nodded and left with Shao Mingyuan and others.

There were only Shitai Wumei and Qiao Zhao left in the room.

"Master, what do you think? Can I check your pulse for you?"

Wumei Shitai smiled: "The poor nun has not been abused, but he has not eaten."

"Then let me make some porridge and side dishes for Shi Tai."

"No hurry." Wumei Shitai stopped her and asked lightly, "Are you scared?"
